Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Global Collections Specialist to manage the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from a worldwide customer base, aiming to reduce delinquency, resolve billing issues, and strengthen customer relationships while supporting Deltek’s commitment to operational excellence.

The role collaborates with project managers, sales, billing, and cash posting teams to address root causes of payment delays, design collection strategies, and prepare reports for executive management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Knowledge of international collection techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Strong negotiation skills with customer relationships in mind.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to individuals and groups.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume AR portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound collection calls while maintaining customer relationships.
• Notify clients before due dates to prevent delays.
• Resolve billing disputes and delinquency with a customer-first approach.
• Monitor accounts and collection reports to prioritize outreach.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, billing, and cash posting teams to address delays.
• Help design and improve collection strategies, processes, and policies.
• Send written communications to encourage timely payments.
• Document issues and propose solutions to management.
• Assist in preparing reports for executive management.
