Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) invites applications for a Financing Partnerships Specialist based in Manila. You will oversee Japan Funds Team activities, including the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program, and coordinate with the Government of Japan, academia, and ADB departments to advance Japan-funded initiatives.

You will support communications, knowledge-sharing, and visibility efforts across stakeholders. The role demands at least 6 years in international development, strong coordination skills,

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent; preferably at post-graduate level.
• At least 6 years work experience in international development or related fields.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and knowledge of cofinancing operations.
• Experience in scholarship administration and organizing high-level events.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and operations of the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program andJapan Funds Team activities.
• Coordinate with Government of Japan, academic institutions and ADB departments on Japan-funded initiatives.
• Prepare and coordinate consultations, partnerships meetings, missions and events.
• Support OneADB cross-department collaboration and internal work planning for the Japan Funds Team.
• Implement the Strategic Communication Plan and donor visibility activities.
