Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks a Financing Partnerships Specialist to support administration of the ADB‑Japan Scholarship Program and coordinate Japan Funds partnerships. Based at ADB Headquarters in Manila, the role requires relocation and engagement with academic institutions, governments, and ADB departments to ensure program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal proficiency in English.
• Experience in scholarship administration.
• High-level coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of international development assistance and finance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate the ADB–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) and manage scholarship cycle processes.
• Coordinate the Japan Funds Team and institutional partnerships with the Government of Japan and academic partners.
• Support knowledge, communications, and visibility activities for Japan-funded programs.
• Assist in planning, managing, and reporting on Japan Fund‑financed projects and TA, tracking milestones.
