Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks a Financing Partnerships Specialist to manage Japan-funded scholarships and trust funds, coordinating with the Government of Japan and academic partners. Based in Manila, relocation is required and reasonable relocation expenses are covered.

You will support fund administration, policy implementation, and visibility activities, ensuring timely inputs and effective delivery of the Japan Funds Team’s work program.

Qualifications

• English proficiency for written and spoken communication.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of MDB operations and funding mechanisms.
• Experience in scholarship administration is required.
• Ability to organize high-level events and engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and operation of Japan Funds and ADB-Japan scholarship program.
• Coordinate with Government of Japan, academic institutions and ADB departments.
• Prepare and coordinate consultations, missions, and events for Japan-funded initiatives.
• Support team planning and management of the Japan Funds Team.
