THUNDERBIRD PILIPINAS HOTELS AND RESORTS INC is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial management, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance across our properties. You will ensure accurate records, develop financial strategies, monitor budgets and cash flow, and deliver timely management reports.

The ideal candidate has a CPA and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy or Finance, with at least seven years in finance, including three in a leadership role.

Qualifications

CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
Seven+ years of progressive finance experience, including three in management.
Hospitality, gaming, or resort industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting records and reports.
Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management.
Analyze data, trends, and variances for strategic planning.
Prepare management reports, forecasts, and analyses.
Lead the budgeting process and forecasts.
Manage departmental budgets and expenses for cost control.
Develop financial models for initiatives and capital investments.
Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and treasury operations.
Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
