Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Head to oversee financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, and strategic FP&A for a resort operation.

The role combines operating finance and strategic finance, requiring leadership of the accounting team, strong compliance with Philippine tax laws, and the ability to drive budgeting and investment analysis to optimize capital allocation.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred and 7–12+ years in finance/accounting
• Hospitality or resort experience is an advantage
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance requirements
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
• Maintain integrity of accounting records and general ledger
• Supervise accounting team and ensure proper documentation
• Coordinate external audits and audit readiness
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements
• Manage daily and long-term cash position; prepare rolling 12–24 month cash flow forecasts
• Lead FP&A: budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting; analyze profitability and cost drivers
• Evaluate capital expenditures; develop ROI/IRR/NPV models; support capital allocation decisions
• Establish and enforce internal control systems; safeguard assets and prevent revenue leakage
• Improve finance processes and reporting systems; pursue automation and system enhancements
