Job summary

Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee all financial management, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure accurate records, develop strategies, monitor budgets and cash flow, and deliver timely reports to support business decisions.

The role requires a CPA license, a bachelor's in accountancy/finance, and at least seven years in finance with three in leadership, preferably with hospitality/gaming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance is required.
• CPA license is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in hospitality, gaming, casino, or resort industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with PAGCOR regulations and casino financial operations is a plus.
• Proficient in financial management systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records and reports.
• Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to support strategic planning.
• Prepare management reports, forecasts, and analyses.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor departmental budgets and operating expenses for cost efficiency.
• Develop financial models and projections for business initiatives and capital investments.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and treasury operations.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
