Job summary

Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee all financial management, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance. You will ensure accurate records, develop strategies, monitor budgets and cash flow, and deliver timely reports to support business decisions.

The role requires a CPA license, a bachelor's in accountancy/finance, and at least seven years in finance with three in leadership, preferably with hospitality/gaming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance is required.
• CPA license is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in hospitality, gaming, casino, or resort industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with PAGCOR regulations and casino financial operations is a plus.
• Proficient in financial management systems and Excel.

The position ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, develops financial strategies, monitors budgets and cash flow, and provides management with timely financial reports to support business decisions. The Financial Controller also ensures compliance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including those imposed by gaming authorities and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

About you
