SM Retail, Inc. - Corporate is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, close processes, and strategic financial support across assigned business units.

You will coordinate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. In this role you will collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams to optimize profitability, manage working capital, and provide insights for decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience is required.
• Retail industry experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for assigned BU/s.
• Track performance vs plans and provide insights to improve profitability and working capital.
• Drive cost control and monitor spend to optimize efficiency across the business.
• Sign-off on statutory and regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls.
