Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI/Tableau/Qlik for data visualization is preferred.

The Accounting Manager - General Accounting is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making in a retail organization. This role oversees financial reporting processes, enhances management reporting capabilities, and provides in-depth analysis of business performance across sales channels, product categories, and cost centers. The manager plays a key role in driving financial visibility, optimizing profitability, and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track performance across stores, regions, categories, and departments.

• Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, providing explanations and recommending actions.

• Support business units with customized financial analysis, including sales trends, margin analysis, and operational efficiency.

• Manage financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives and investments.

• Continuously improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes for efficiency and clarity.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Lead or support system implementation or enhancement projects for reporting and data analytics tools.

• Supervise and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.

• Preferably 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, or analysis, ideally within the retail industry.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.
