The role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, tax compliance, internal controls, and audits across the business. The ideal candidate will bring CPA credentials, 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience in retail, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be CPA.
• 7-10 years of finance and accounting experience, with a strong background in the retail industry.
• Solid experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, internal controls, and audit management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations across the company's portfolio.
• Ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts in partnership with management to support business objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure optimal financial performance.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets, including inventory and fixed assets.
• Ensure tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.
• Conduct quarterly inventory and cash audits across retail stores.
• Provide financial guidance to cross‑functional teams, including HR and Operations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic finance professional with a strong retail background who can drive process improvements while ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations across the company's portfolio.
• Ensure the timely preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts in partnership with management to support business objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure optimal financial performance.
• Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, including inventory, cash, and fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Review and oversee VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Personal Income Tax (PIT) computations and filings.
• Ensure all tax filings and statutory submissions are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.
• Conduct quarterly inventory and cash audits across retail stores.
• Oversee financial documentation related to store openings and closures.
• Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including HR and Operations.
• Manage day-to-day finance-related concerns across various departments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
