Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT, software development, systems engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of academic leadership, preferably as a Dean, Associate Dean or Department Head.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and development within CS/IT.
• Strong knowledge of current industry practices and educational technology.
• Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
• Proven track record in faculty recruitment, development and performance management.
• Experience in building industry partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
• Budget management and resource allocation experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for CS/IT programs.
• Oversee curriculum development to stay current with technology trends.
• Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure quality assurance and accreditation compliance across CS/IT offerings.
• Lead student success initiatives including mentorship and placement support.
• Build relationships with industry partners and community stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, resources and facilities for the CS/IT division.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and institutional metrics.
• Represent the CS/IT division in college meetings and external engagements.
• Foster an inclusive environment promoting innovation and ethics.
