Job summary

RemoteVA in the Philippines is seeking a Licensed Legal Professional to provide expert legal support, draft and negotiate contracts, and advise on governance and compliance.

You will work with management and external counsel, monitor regulatory changes, and maintain case files while ensuring accurate records and risk mitigation. The role requires strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the Philippine Bar (or relevant jurisdiction).
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional legal practice, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
• Experience in contract management, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Background in labor law, intellectual property, or regulatory affairs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, labor, intellectual property, and compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or opinions on complex issues.
• Support litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
• Ensure organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and legal implications of business decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and case files.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.
