Job summary

RemoteVA is seeking a Legal Professional to provide expert legal support, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, advising on governance, and supporting litigation or dispute resolution with external counsel.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of corporate/commercial law experience, Bar admission, and strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills. MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or J.D. degree required.
• Bar admission to the Philippines or relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional legal practice in corporate or commercial law.
• Experience in contract management, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, labor, intellectual property, and compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or opinions on complex issues.
• Support litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
• Ensure organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Advise management on risk mitigation strategies and legal implications of business decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and case files.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations.
