Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines seeks a Corporate Banking professional to solicit new customers and grow a designated portfolio through relationship management, marketing and delivery of bank products to meet targets and maximize profitability while assuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

The role is assigned to the Japanese and Economic Zone Segment, developing strategic plans and maintaining dialogue with senior decision makers to drive cross-sell and credit proposals.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of credit analysis, bank products/services, banking regulations and legal documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in business.
• At least two years of banking industry experience, specifically in corporate banking.
• Ability to speak Nihongo would be advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes overall account strategies for each account under coverage, with the view of maximizing overall returns from the relationship.
• Solicits credit-worthy accounts by identifying target markets and strategies, ensuring optimal coverage of the identified target market.
• Drives customized and cohesive product account plans in coordination with bank product partners.
• Promotes a cross selling mentality by leveraging the full suite of bank products and services in managing corporate relationships.
• Delivers mandated profitability metrics and cross-sell ratios while ensuring compliance with bank credit and regulatory policy.
• Ensures compliance of accounts under coverage with documentation/covenant requirements.
• Builds and nurtures relationships at various levels of a corporate organization, engaging with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Treasury Heads.
• Prepares and evaluates credit proposals and line renewals according to established plans and strategies.
• Analyzes customers' market and financial positions to identify needs and potential risks to credit quality.
• Maintains a sound credit quality of the loan portfolio under coverage.
• Develops and grows market share for assets and liabilities, including collateral business revenues.
• Mentors Account Specialists on proper account administration and relationship management.
• Assists in collecting past-due accounts and handles loan restructurings as needed.
