Job Summary
The Procurement Management Officer provides general support to the Procurement Manager in sourcing, screening, and negotiating with suppliers and contractors. Coordinates with other departments on all project requirements. Prepares purchase orders, comparative evaluations, and periodic updates of materials cost. Maintains organized files of suppliers' documentation for accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Sources and requests quotations and proposals from suppliers
- Prepares and assesses the comparative evaluation of quotations
- Checks and maintains suppliers' file documents for accreditation
- Negotiates with prospective suppliers
- Prepares purchase orders and updates cost of materials quarterly
- Handles correspondence and negotiates with contractors and suppliers
- Conducts inter-departments coordination for specific requirements
- Performs all other tasks that may be assigned to him/her from time to time
Job Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Must have at least 3-5 years of working experience in the Construction Industry is an advantage
- Background in technical procurement is a huge advantage
- Experience in building projects is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Excellent Negotiation Skills
- Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City
