Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Business Finance Manager to drive financial planning, cost controls, and performance across the business units in the Philippines. You will oversee product costing, margin analysis, and pricing strategy while ensuring robust internal controls and timely financial reporting.

Ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with 6–8 years total experience, including 3 years in business finance, with strong SAP and MS Office skills and IFRS/Ind AS knowledge.

Qualifications

• CA with 6–8 years total experience and at least 3 years in handling Business Finance
• Analytical ability to contribute to business and resolve issues
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Understanding implications of commercials and tax laws on accounting
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office
• Experience in consolidation controllership and finalization
• Knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS and audits

Responsibilities

• Prepare Business Plan and drive achievement on financials and operational parameters.
• Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, cost controls, inventory management, and contract management.
• Product costing, margin analysis and pricing strategy participation.
• Consolidation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly closures.
• Maintain internal controls and books hygiene including audits.
• Lead treasury activities and liaise with banks and HO team.
• Evaluate business proposals, negotiate contracts and Capex plans.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead IT function at unit level with CIO support.
