Ocean Transport Group of Companies, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of client accounts and drive growth in Metro Manila.

You will build lasting relationships, prepare proposals, and coordinate with operations to ensure service excellence across the shipping and logistics spectrum. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, 1+ year in sales or account management, and the willingness to visit clients within Metro Manila and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and meet sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple accounts at once.
• Willing to do client visits within Metro Manila and nearby areas.

Responsabilités

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned client accounts as their primary point of contact.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive retention and repeat business.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare quotations, rate proposals, and service offers in coordination with the commercial team.
• Negotiate rates and terms within approved guidelines.
• Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure accounts are served accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to resolve escalated concerns and keep commitments to clients.
• Monitor account performance, volumes, and receivables, and follow up on collections as needed.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management.
• Perform other sales and account management tasks as assigned.
