Job summary

Jatro BPO is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support Australian strata property financial operations from onsite in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have experience in Australian accounting, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a commitment to accurate, timely, and compliant financial services.

Responsibilities include managing AP/AR, preparing monthly reports, trust account reconciliations, budgeting, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of Australian accounting, strata accounting, property accounting, or similar role.
• Experience with Australian taxation, BAS, payroll, and wage calculations preferred.
• Knowledge of trust accounting and Australian strata legislation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports for strata corporations.
• Maintain and reconcile trust accounts per Australian strata regulations.
• Prepare budgets, financial statements, and schedules.
• Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process levy notices and monitor collections.
• Maintain journals and general ledger entries.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Respond to financial inquiries from managers and clients.
• Support Australian payroll processing and BAS preparation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and internal controls.
