Job summary

Jatro BPO is seeking a diligent accounting professional to join its Australian property and strata management team in a full-time role. You will handle monthly financial reporting, AP/AR, and trust accounts while supporting budgets and audits.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in Australian accounting, knowledge of strata legislation, and proficiency with MYOB, Xero, Strata Master, StrataMax or QuickBooks. On-site work with opportunities for professional growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of Australian accounting experience (strata/accounting preferred).
• Experience with Australian taxation, BAS, payroll, wage calculations is a plus.
• Knowledge of trust accounting and Australian strata legislation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Strata Master, StrataMax, MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports for strata corporations with accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable including invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Administer trust accounts in line with strata legislation and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, financial statements, and schedules.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Be the main contact for property managers and clients on financial matters.
• Maintain accounting records including ledgers and journals.
• Generate levy notices and monitor collections, following up on arrears.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure records comply with accounting standards and procedures.
