Job summary

Good Ice Cream Inc. seeks a Store Supervisor (Team Leader) for its new Salcedo Village shop in Makati. You will lead the shift, manage the crew, handle the cash, and ensure daily opening/closing routines are complete. This role reports to the Store Manager and acts as a stepping stone toward store leadership.

You will train the crew, manage stock and waste, and guarantee food safety and cleanliness for customers who can see the kitchen. English is spoken at the counter; Filipino is welcome.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• Led a shift or a small team before in a café, restaurant, or store.
• You really like ice cream and are ready to explore many flavors and combinations.
• You stay calm when it is busy and do not shout.
• You like teaching the crew and helping them learn flavors.
• We can trust you with money and keys and past employer checks.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the shop, keep the keys, and complete the opening/closing checklist daily.
• Lead the shift and direct the team during busy times; decide actions and fix problems.
• Count cash at closing, handle bank transactions, and report discrepancies.
• Train the crew on flavors and procedures.
• Count stock and waste daily; report shortages to the Store Manager.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and safe; customers watch the kitchen.
• Help the crew when problems arise and escalate to the Store Manager as needed.

About the job

We are a new ice cream shop in Salcedo Village, Makati City. We make all our ice cream in our own kitchen. The kitchen has a glass wall, so customers can watch us make it. We open in early October 2026. We are looking for a Store Supervisor (Team Leader) to lead the shift.

You are in charge of the counter on your shift: the crew, the customers, the cash, and the closing. You report to the Store Manager. This job is the step before Store Manager.

Job description

You will do everything a Service Crew does — serve customers, give tastes, explain the flavors, and close the shop clean. You will also:

• Open and close the shop. You keep the keys. You make sure the opening and closing checklist is done every day.
• Lead the shift. When it is busy, you lead the team. You decide what to do, and you fix problems right away.
• Take care of the money. Count the cash register at closing, handle the bank transactions, and report anything that looks wrong.
• Train the crew. They learn the flavors from you.
• Count the stock and the waste every day. Report the true numbers. Tell the Store Manager when something is running low.
• Keep the food safe: check temperatures, check dates, keep the work areas clean. Customers can see our kitchen, so it must be clean and safe all the time.
• Help the crew when they cannot fix a problem. Know when to call the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• You have led a shift or a small team before — in a café, restaurant, or store. You know how to close a shop the right way.
• You really like ice cream. We will ask about this at the interview. Be ready to try a lot of different new flavors and combinations.
• You stay calm when it is busy. You do not shout.
• You like teaching. The crew learns the flavors from you.
• We can trust you with money and keys. We will call your past employers to check.
• Customers can see you while you work. You lead in front of customers. You must be okay with that.
• You are willing to learn our computer tools — the cash register and our phone apps.
• You can work on weekends and holidays.

We speak English at the counter. Filipino is also okay.

Salary and benefits

• Salary: ₱22,500 – ₱27,500 per month, depending on your experience
• SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and 13th month pay
• Overtime pay, night differential, and holiday pay.
• Tips are shared.
• Work schedule: 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, with 1 rest day. Shifting schedule between 11:00 AM and 12:00 midnight.
• Start date: as soon as possible.

You will need a health certificate (health card) before your first day.
