Ori Creamery — Salcedo Village, Makati
We are a new ice cream shop, opening at the end of September. We make small batches with real ingredients — no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our kitchen has a glass wall, so customers can watch us work. We are looking for someone to make the ice cream with our Head Chef.
Make the ice cream: weigh, mix, pasteurise, churn and pack every batch, following our recipes and our schedule
Make the things that go inside it: swirls, sauces, brittle, candied fruit
Use and clean the machines: pasteuriser, batch freezer, blast freezer
Keep the kitchen safe: sanitise, write down temperatures, use older stock first, label and date everything, be careful with allergies
Receive deliveries and keep the daily stock count correct
Taste every batch before it goes out, and tell us if something is wrong
Help test new flavours: weigh the test batches, take notes, give honest feedback
Make ice cream for events and catering orders
Serve at the counter on busy days once we open
You really like ice cream. We will ask you about it.
At least 1 year working in a kitchen. Ice cream or gelato is best, but cooks from restaurants and hotels are welcome.
You follow a recipe exactly and write down what you did.
You are clean, careful, and honest when something goes wrong.
You are okay being seen while you work, and happy to talk to customers about what you made.
You are willing to learn our tools — our recipe sheets, our systems, and our AI assistant.
You can work a full shift on your feet, and you can work weekends and holidays.
You can speak and read English.
Nice to have: experience making ice cream.
Full-time. 8 hours a day. Making the ice cream starts around 09:00. After we open, some shifts fall inside our opening hours of 11:00 to midnight. Maximum 6 days a week, with 1 rest day.
Overtime, night differential and holiday pay are all paid properly.
