Job summary

Good Ice Cream Inc. in Salcedo Village, Makati City, opens in September 2026. We seek a person to run the shop when the owners are away, ensuring the same standards on every shift.

You will lead the crew, manage the cash, train teammates, monitor temperatures and cleanliness, and engage with customers. You must be a high school graduate with prior shift leadership in a café or store, and you should stay calm during busy periods.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Led a shift or small team before in a café, restaurant, or store.
• Able to close a shop properly and manage opening/closing routines.
• Enjoy ice cream and can explain flavors to customers.
• Remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Willing to train crew on flavors and procedures.
• Trusted with money and keys; references may be checked.
• Visible to customers while leading; comfortable with public presence.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the shop; keep keys and complete opening/closing checklists.
• Lead the shift; coordinate tasks and resolve problems during busy periods.
• Manage cash: count cash at closing, handle transactions, report discrepancies.
• Train crew on flavors and shop procedures.
• Count stock and waste daily; report low items with accurate numbers.
• Ensure food safety: monitor temperatures, dates, cleanliness at all times.
• Assist crew with issues and know when to call the owners.
