Job summary

Ori Creamery in Makati invites friendly service crew to join the opening team. You will greet customers, offer tastes, scoop ice cream, and process payments while ensuring guests leave happy.

You will learn each flavour to explain them clearly to customers, keep the shop tidy, and close the shop properly at night. You’ll handle cash carefully and communicate any issues immediately, working closely with the owners from day one.

Qualifications

Ori Creamery — Salcedo Village, Makati

We are a new ice cream shop. We make everything here in our own kitchen, and customers can watch us do it through a glass wall. We open at the end of September. You would be one of the first people at our counter.

This is not only handing over a cup. Every morning you taste the flavours. You offer customers a taste of the newest one, and you tell them in one sentence what is in it. If a customer is not happy, you fix it right there. You do not need to ask a manager first.

What you will do

• Serve customers: greet them, give tastes, scoop, take payment, send them off happy

• Learn every flavour well enough to explain it to someone who has never tried it
• Keep the shop clean while you work, and close it properly at night
• Handle cash carefully. If something looks wrong, tell us — it is one message
• Work with the owners every day. We are at the counter with you, especially at the start

Who we are looking for

• You have worked in food, drinks or retail — café, restaurant, waiter, or store crew. We can teach you ice cream. It is harder to teach someone how to serve people.

• You really like ice cream. We will ask you about it.
• You are okay being seen while you work. Our kitchen has a glass wall.
• You like explaining things. You will tell customers about the flavours.
• You work well with other people.
• You are willing to learn our tools — the cash register, our systems, and our AI assistant.
• You are clean and careful with food. Clean hands, clean station, no shortcuts.

You do not need to know how to make ice cream. We teach that part. English is what we use at the counter. Filipino is welcome too.

Hours and pay

• Full-time. 8 hours a day, inside our opening hours of 11:00 to midnight. Day shift or evening shift, on rotation. Maximum 6 days a week, with 1 rest day.
• You clock in and clock out. Overtime, night differential and holiday pay are all paid properly.
• 13th month, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG
• Tips are shared by everyone
• Pay is discussed at the interview. Everything above is on top of it.
• This is the opening team. If we open more shops, we choose the people to run them from here first.

You will need a food handler’s health card before your first shift. If you do not have one yet, that is fine — we will show you where to get it.
