Select Goods is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Sucat Muntinlupa City location in Metro Manila. This full-time role drives commercial success, leads a dynamic team, and delivers exceptional customer experiences in retail and consumer products.

You will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and lead strategies to achieve store targets while upholding brand standards and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail management position.

About the role

Select Goods is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations at our Sucat Muntinlupa City location in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to drive commercial success, lead a dynamic team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in the retail and consumer products sector. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, ensuring our location meets and exceeds sales targets, maintains operational excellence, and represents the Select Goods brand with distinction. This role is critical to our business strategy and offers significant scope for impact and career progression.

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and adherence to company policies and procedures

2. Leading, motivating and developing a diverse team of retail staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and coaching

3. Driving sales performance and achieving store targets through effective merchandising, promotional execution and customer engagement strategies

4. Managing inventory levels, conducting stock audits and implementing loss prevention measures to minimise shrinkage and maximise profitability

5. Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience that builds loyalty and encourages repeat business

6. Monitoring financial performance, analysing sales data and preparing regular reports for senior management

7. Maintaining visual merchandising standards and ensuring the store environment is clean, well-organised and inviting

8. Implementing and enforcing health, safety and security procedures to ensure a safe workplace for staff and customers

9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers, delivery partners and the wider community

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar senior retail management position, ideally within the consumer products sector

2. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop team members at all levels

3. Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving commercial results

4. Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, point-of-sale systems and stock control procedures

5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends and make informed business decisions

6. Outstanding customer service orientation with a commitment to creating positive shopping experiences

7. Proficiency in financial management and P&L responsibility, with experience managing store budgets

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation

9. Physical capability to perform the demands of a retail environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting stock

10. Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
