Job summary

STORE ONE INC is seeking an Account Officer - Stocks to monitor, control, and maintain accurate inventory records across assigned stores or warehouses. You will ensure stock movements are documented and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

In this role you will monitor daily stock movements, reconcile physical stock with the system, prepare regular inventory reports, and coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing to ensure stock availability and proper replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movements including receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments and issuances.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
• Perform regular stock reconciliation between physical inventory and system records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing on stock availability and replenishment.
• Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, obsolete, and damaged stocks and propose actions.
• Ensure all transactions are documented with proper supporting records.
• Assist in scheduled and surprise physical inventory counts.
• Verify accuracy of receiving and releasing documents before posting.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies and internal controls.
• Assist in developing and improving inventory management processes.
• Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.

• Participate in scheduled and surprise physical inventory counts.
