Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in the Philippines seeks a PH-Prof II IT Infra - Networking to drive network performance, monitoring, and capacity planning in a healthcare setting.

You will troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall and VPN issues, optimize devices (Cisco 9300/9500/6800 and ISR 4k), maintain documentation and collaborate with vendors; ITIL processes guide operations for reliable patient data systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on Cisco network switches 9300/9500/6800 and routers.
• Experience with ISR 4k series.
• Proven knowledge of ITIL framework.
• LAN and WAN technologies.
• Routing and Switching.
• Firewall.
• VPN.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical support tasks per contract requirements and guidelines.
• Monitor, reconfigure and optimize network hardware for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot networking problems independently.
• Evaluate network performance: availability, utilization, throughput, latency.
• Maintain network performance via monitoring, analysis and tuning.
• Secure network with access controls and documentation.

Role / Job Summary:

• Responsible for the performance of technical support projects or tasks in accordance with contract requirements, appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Network Monitoring, Performance and capacity planning: monitor, reconfigure and optimize network hardware (i.e. routers, firewalls, switches) for performance improvements and future scalability.
• Troubleshoot straightforward networking problems independently by investigating underlying problems.
• Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems and escalating problems to vendor.
• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation and maintaining documentation.
• Upgrades network by conferring with vendors, developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
