Job summary

TeleCure Medical and Diagnostic Center is seeking a Staff Midwife to deliver comprehensive maternal and newborn care in line with established medical standards. You will assist with childbirth, manage labor, and provide prenatal and postnatal services at our Malolos facility.

• 1 year Midwifery (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Assist in managing normal and complicated pregnancies and deliveries.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Clinic Supervisor. The Staff Midwife is responsible for providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care in accordance with established medical standards. This role includes assisting with childbirth, managing labor, and offering prenatal and postnatal care to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care:

• Provide direct care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist in managing both normal and complicated pregnancies and deliveries.
• Conduct routine prenatal and postnatal examinations, ensuring thorough assessments and accurate documentation.
• Educate and support patients on prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including breastfeeding, newborn care, and family planning.

Clinical Procedures:

• Perform routine midwifery procedures and interventions within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on professional knowledge through continuing education and active participation in professional organizations.
• Engage in professional development and training to stay current with advancements in midwifery practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management or superiors.
• May be assigned onsite or to different locations as needed to support patient care and organizational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Graduate of Diploma in Midwifery or Bachelor of Science in Midwifery.
• Experience: 1 year Midwifery (Preferred)
• Licenses & Certifications: Midwife with a valid PRC license.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of maternal and newborn care protocols and standards.
