Job summary

Dexcom Philippines seeks a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting across our enterprise. You’ll design detection use cases, tune analytics, and mentor analysts while collaborating with global teams on complex security investigations.

You will apply AI-enabled security technologies and maintain end-to-end DFIR capabilities, including malware analysis and forensics, to strengthen our cloud and on‑premises environments.

Qualifications

• You possess strong expertise in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, and DFIR methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, XDR/EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, vulnerability management, firewall, email security, and cloud security technologies.
• Experience designing, implementing, tuning, and maintaining detections, analytics, and monitoring use cases.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted security technologies, automation, ML analytics, or generative AI for improved detection and response.
• Experience leading security projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring, investigation, and response to security events across SIEM, XDR/EDR, email security, IDS/IPS, DLP, firewalls, cloud, and other platforms.
• Oversee/perform advanced DFIR activities including threat hunting, malware investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Design, develop, and maintain detection content, rules, analytics, and use cases based on threat intel and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Mentor analysts and engineers; act as shift lead or escalation point.
• Support or lead security projects and allied security services when needed.
