Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Manila seeks a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Enterprise Cyber Defense team. You will lead or support SOC operations across SIEM, XDR/EDR, DLP, and network security, coordinating incident response, threat analysis, and remediation.

You will mentor analysts, design detection content, and apply MITRE ATT&CK, AI-assisted security tools, and automation to improve detection and response across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, and DFIR methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, XDR/EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, firewall, email security, and cloud security technologies.
• Experience designing, implementing, tuning, and maintaining detections, analytics, and monitoring use cases.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted security technologies, automation, and ML analytics to improve detection and response outcomes.
• Experience investigating and responding to complex security incidents including malware, ransomware, phishing, insider threats, and cloud attacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring, investigation, and response to security events across SIEM, XDR/EDR, and other platforms.
• Conduct DFIR activities including threat hunting, malware investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Design, tune, and maintain detection content and use cases based on threat intel and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance detection and investigation efficiency.
• Mentor analysts and engineers across incident response and security operations best practices.
• Provide shift leadership and participate in cross-functional security projects.
