Job summary

Dexcom Philippines is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to lead advanced security operations, DFIR activities, and detection engineering across on-premises and cloud environments. You will design detection content, leverage AI for security operations, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with global teams.

The role supports a sustainable rotation schedule across US/EMEA/APAC and may involve on-call duties to ensure continuous protection of CGM-related platforms.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with substantial related experience.
• Experience in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, and DFIR methodologies.
• Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monitoring, investigation, and response to security events across SIEM, XDR/EDR, email security, IDS/IPS, DLP, firewalls, cloud, and other security platforms.
• Lead or support DFIR activities including threat hunting, malware investigations, endpoint and network forensics, root cause analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain detection content, correlation rules, analytics, and use cases based on threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Leverage AI and machine learning within security platforms to enhance detection, threat hunting, alert triage, and incident response.
• Act as shift lead or escalation point and mentor analysts and engineers.
