Job summary

Concentrix CVG Philippines is seeking a Network Engineer to support and secure its infrastructure, planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network and security hardware and links. The role is part of a 24x7 first level support team handling outages and projects.

You will manage incident and change activities to meet SLAs, with hands-on experience in routing, switching, and security, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and devices like Cisco ASA, Fortigate, or Palo Alto.

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Routing, Switching and Security

• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WIFI, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers
• Handle day-to-day network activities related to incident and change management
• Ensure end user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs
• Troubleshoot routing, switching and security issues
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with direct manager and/or direct reports

About the role

The Network Engineer's role is to support and secure infrastructure throughout Concentrix CVG Philippines. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network and security hardware software and communication links and involved in the next wave of security offerings. The role is part of a 24x7 first level support network team focused on both network outages as well as network-related projects. The candidate will be accountable for day-to-day network activities, such as those related to incident and change management, to ensure end user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support and optimize all network and security hardware software
• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WIFI, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers
• Handle day-to-day network activities related to incident and change management
• Ensure end user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs
• Troubleshoot routing, switching and security issues
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided

About you

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• In depth knowledge in Routing and Switching
• Hands-on experience (8-10) years preferably on Routing Switching Security domain
• Basic and Advance knowledge of BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
• Good hands on Switching and STP protocol
• Good command and expertise on Multi-OEM infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Fortigate, or Palo Alto
• Good team player and flexible to work on roster
• Ability to troubleshoot and logically solve problems with attention to detail and good organizational skills
