Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Senior Client Technical Specialist to join Singtel Philippines and support Singtel Singapore operations. You will act as SME for client network setups, provide escalated technical support, and manage changes and incidents across large-scale networks.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in global customer environments, strong routing/switching and SD-WAN expertise, and familiarity with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet devices. Excellent communication is essential for this regional role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in complex network support for large global customers.
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN, routing/switching, TCP/IP and security.
• Experience with SD-WAN and multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Hands-on with VPN, IPsec, PKI, LDAP/RADIUS and MFA security.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for client network designs and configurations.
• Provide escalation support for NOC incidents; troubleshoot issues.
• Review and document complex changes; maintain network docs.
• Manage incidents from creation to resolution with timely follow-ups.
• Perform root cause analysis and publish technical bulletins.
• Coordinate with Day 1/Day 2 teams, engineering, QA and product.
• Communicate effectively with customers; align needs with Singtel solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor on network requirements and solutions.

We're seeking Senior Client Technical Specialists to join Singtel Philippines while providing critical support to Singtel Singapore operations. This is your chance to be part of a regional team that connects people, businesses, and communities across the Singtel Group.

About the role:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert with extensive understanding of client’s network setup/design.
• Provide Technical Support for escalated incident from NOC engineers, troubleshooting and solving the issues.
• Provide and/or review configurations of complex changes, documenting all changes including and not limited to maintaining network documentation.
• Manage incidents to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues.
• Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base.
• Review of technical documentation for training materials, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the technical support provided.
• Focal point for customers technical needs and serves as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding their network and aligning their needs with Singtel solution.

Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in similar support roles, working directly with large global customers and partners, as well as internal teams such as Day 1 (Implementation), Day 2 (Operations), Engineering, QA, and Product Management.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching, TCP/IP, Network Security).
• Experience in routing and switching technology, including MPLS IPVPN, Cloud Connect Solution, BGP, OSPF, etc.
• Experienced and familiar with networking products from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and others.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting large-scale of networks.
• Experience working with at least one SD-WAN solution, such as Silverpeak, Cisco SD-WAN, VeloCloud, or Fortinet.
• Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols (LDAP, RADIUS etc.)
• Experience working with multi-factor authentication security system (tokens, certificates, CAC cards, and similar).
• Working knowledge of Security services (IDS/IPS, Firewalls etc.)
• Virtualization experience (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack) is a plus.
• Candidate having SD-WAN certification and/or CCIE/CCNP is a plus.
• Working experience in a managed service provider is a plus.
• Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
