Job Responsibilities

• Design Influence & Product Specification

Ensure the inclusion of company brands and products in technical specifications, design standards, and typical details of projects through early design-stage engagement.

• Technical Consultation & Product Guidance

Provide technical advice and design support to specifiers to ensure correct, compliant, and optimized product selection aligned with project and regulatory requirements.

• Specification Approval & Brand Protection

Secure and monitor “specified” or “approved” status of company products in project documents and actively protect specified projects from substitution risks.

• Project Identification & Pipeline Tracking

Identify projects at early stages and track progress from concept to construction, maintaining an updated project pipeline with probability and status monitoring.

• Technical Presentations & Knowledge Leadership

Conduct product and technical presentations, seminars, and CPD sessions in coordination with Brand Product Managers or Technical Specialists as required.

Identify market trends, competitor activities, and product gaps to support new product development, product improvement, or lineup enhancement based on market demand and relevance.

• Internal Coordination & Cross-Functional Support

Collaborate closely with sales, product/brand management, marketing, and technical teams to ensure effective project handover, alignment, and conversion at tender stage.

• Industry Engagement & Professional Representation

Actively participate in professional associations, technical forums, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen company presence and align products with industry standards.

• Reporting, Documentation & CRM Management

Maintain accurate records of specifier engagements, project specifications, presentations, and approvals using CRM or reporting tools, and submit regular reports on spec-in wins, active projects, risks, and opportunities.
