The role requires close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Asset Management, Finance, Purchasing, and contractors to ensure timely, within-budget delivery per approved specs and safety/quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a Licensed Civil Engineer with 6-7 years of project management experience, strong planning/cost

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with valid certification.
• 6-7 years of relevant engineering/project management experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Project.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor engineering and capital projects.

About the role

The Special Projects Engineer Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring various engineering and capital projects of the Group of Companies. The position will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Asset Management, Finance, Purchasing, contractors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, according to approved specifications, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor engineering and capital projects
• Work with Operations, Maintenance, Asset Management, Finance, Purchasing, contractors, and suppliers
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure projects meet approved specifications and comply with safety and quality standards

• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Solve unexpected project issues
• Provide Management with practical engineering and cost recommendations

About you

• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• At least 6-7 years of relevant engineering/project management experience
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost estimation, construction methods, and contractor management
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project or other project management tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Capable of taking ownership of projects from concept to completion
• Able to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders
