Job summary

Link Energie in the Philippines seeks a Project Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities. You will interpret plans, schedule work, coordinate materials, supervise teams, and ensure quality and safety compliance under tight deadlines.

The role requires a Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree with a professional license, at least 3 years in a project engineer role and 1 year in supervision, plus strong communication and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a professional license as an Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience as Project Engineer and 1 year in a Supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Willing to do field work as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ProjectEngineer provides direct supervision and execution of actual activities in the operations. They ensurethat all technical requirements of on-site projects are met.

Job Description

• Interpret plans and specifications prior to construction.
• Schedule and coordinate work activities among his subordinates.
• Coordinatethe requisition, issuances, and delivery to the work site of required materials and equipment.
• Superviseall works and operations being done within his control.
• Enforcethe implementation of immediate quality control measure within his area of responsibility.
• Enforceall environmental, health and safety rules as well as security regulations on his assigned area of work.
• Plan the work and efficiently organize site resources in order to meet the agreed budget and the deadlines.
• Promoteharmonious relationships among his subordinates.
• Evaluate, check and verifyproject accomplishment vis-a-vis budget.
• Prepareproject status report for Project Manager.
• Keep and maintain the daily project log book and prepare weekly project status reports as required.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of said construction activities and ensure quality of work being done.
• In-charge of the over-all technical and administrative concerns in the site, including the staff, contractors and laborers under their supervision.
• Performother related functions that may be assigned within their capability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a professional license as an Engineer.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as Project Engineer and 1 year in a Supervisory capacity is an advantage.
• Effective in task prioritization while taking into account shifting demands and timelines.
• Ability tomake informed decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
