Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to support the construction phase of solar power plant projects in the Philippines. The role reports to the AVP for HSE and focuses on implementing site HSE programs, regulatory compliance, inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer (SO2 or higher); SO3 is an advantage.
• BOSH or COSH certification is required.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in construction, preferably renewable energy projects.
• Working knowledge of Philippine HSE regulations and permit-to-work systems.
• Proficient in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor site HSE policies, project HSE plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections and hazard assessments.
• Investigate accidents, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver site HSE orientations, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Coordinate with contractors to address safety observations and compliance issues.
• Maintain HSE records and submit performance reports to AVP for HSE.
