Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across construction sites in the Philippines. The role requires an accredited OSH practitioner, a relevant degree, and extensive HSE experience in construction with strong knowledge of Philippine laws and safety culture development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a qualified/accredited Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Practitioner in accordance with applicable Philippine occupational safety and health requirements.
• Extensive experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE/EHS), with significant experience in a construction setting.
• Strong knowledge of applicable Philippine OSH laws, regulations, standards, and environmental requirements.
• Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, safety inspections, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies, programs, procedures, and management systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to integrate safety practices into construction operations and business processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, employees, contractors, project teams, clients, and government regulatory agencies.
• Ability to lead safety initiatives, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance across construction sites.
• Relevant professional certifications and specialized HSE training are an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple HSE requirements and construction projects simultaneously.
