Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Officer to ensure full compliance with Philippine OSH standards and environmental regulations. The role develops, implements, and monitors HSE programs across Philippine entities, promotes a strong safety culture, and minimizes environmental impact.

The position focuses on implementing OSH policies, conducting audits, trainings, incident investigations, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Forty-hour BOSH training or OSH equivalent.
• Additional 80 hours of advanced OSH training.
• Total OSH training 320 hours.
• 4+ years as Safety Officer (BPO).
• Experience in environmental compliance / EMS.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure DOLE OSH compliance and related laws in the Philippines.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement and maintain OSH policies and programs (Lockout/Tagout, Fire Safety, etc.).
• Investigate incidents and report to DOLE; maintain safety records.
• Organize and deliver OSH trainings for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Oversee environmental compliance with Philippine regulations and permits.
