Job summary

Qualifications

Vocational or technical certificate in Electrical Technology or Power Line Installation.
Proven Lineman experience in electrical distribution, transmission or renewable energy projects.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and line maps.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground distribution lines within the solar farm.
Perform stringing, tensioning, splicing, terminating and other line construction activities.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of transformers, switchgear, disconnects, and other electrical equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, damages, or potential issues.
Maintain compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Operate linework equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, and hot sticks.
Coordinate with engineers, electricians, and construction teams to ensure timely project progress.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies, including proper PPE use.
