Sercomm Philippines Inc. in Laguna is seeking an experienced Production Leader to oversee daily SMT lines, drive productivity, and mentor a skilled team.
You will implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, optimize material flow and equipment maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards across all shifts. Candidates must have at least eight years in electronics manufacturing (SMT) and a BS in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
Production Leadership:
Overseeing daily SMT production lines, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Team Management:
Leading, motivating, and developing SMT personnel, providing training and guidance.
Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, throughput, and productivity, including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Quality Control:
Monitoring employee work performance, ensuring quality standards are met, and working to reduce defects.
Workforce Development:
Ensuring personnel are thoroughly trained and certified in their roles, and providing mentorship to supervisory staff.
Material Management:
Managing the flow of materials through the SMT facility, optimizing workflow and material usage.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensuring SMT equipment is in good working condition and available when needed.
Reporting and Documentation:
Creating reports on production levels, downtime, and defects.
Leadership and Management:
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and motivating teams.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and manufacturing techniques.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues.
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Process Improvement:
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Safety:
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate requires a minimum of eightyears’ work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment (SMT operation and/or management).
BS Electrical or BS Electronics field preferred.
