Job summary

Sercomm Philippines Inc. in Laguna is seeking an experienced Production Leader to oversee daily SMT lines, drive productivity, and mentor a skilled team.

You will implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, optimize material flow and equipment maintenance, and uphold safety and quality standards across all shifts. Candidates must have at least eight years in electronics manufacturing (SMT) and a BS in Electrical or Electronics engineering.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT) or management.
• BS Electrical or BS Electronics degree preferred.
• Deep knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and configurations.
• Proven leadership, ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily SMT production lines, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Leading, motivating, and developing SMT personnel, providing training and guidance.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, throughput, and productivity, including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Monitoring employee work performance, ensuring quality standards are met, and reducing defects.
• Ensuring personnel are trained and certified in their roles, and mentoring supervisory staff.
• Managing the flow of materials through the SMT facility, optimizing workflow and material usage.
• Ensuring SMT equipment is in good working condition and available when needed.
• Creating reports on production levels, downtime, and defects.
