About the role
We are looking for an experienced SME Commercial Card Program Manager to join a strategic 12-month engagement supporting a leading financial institution in the Philippines. This role will play a key part in the planning, delivery, launch readiness, and early post-launch activities of an SME Commercial Card proposition. The successful candidate will work across business, product, operations, technology, risk, and other key stakeholder groups to ensure that programme milestones, dependencies, risks, and launch activities are effectively coordinated and delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day programme activities across planning, delivery, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch support
- Track key milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate working sessions, governance meetings, and stakeholder updates
- Prepare clear and concise programme reports, dashboards, and materials for management and senior stakeholders
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive actions to closure
- Support the development and readiness of the SME Commercial Card proposition
- Contribute to business case development, customer segmentation, product readiness, and proposition-related activities
- Provide market, competitor, cards, and payments insights to support programme decisions
- Support go-to-market planning, sales enablement, channel readiness, and launch activation
- Coordinate readiness activities across product, operations, channels, technology, testing, certification, and go-live
About you
- 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in programme management, product delivery, banking transformation, cards/payments, financial services consulting, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional programmes or initiatives involving business, risk, operations, and technology teams
- Strong understanding of card issuing, commercial cards, SME banking, or the broader payments ecosystem
- Experience supporting a product launch, card implementation, platform transformation, or major business/technology change initiative
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, executive reporting, and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English and Tagalog
- Must be based in the Philippines and willing to work on-site with client stakeholders as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline
