Job summary

Maybank Philippines seeks an Account Officer for SME to acquire and grow profitable SME relationships, expanding borrower networks and ensuring effective account servicing.

You will assess creditworthiness, structure facilities, and coordinate with RSCC and LAD to prepare proposals while cross-selling bank products. The role demands diligent portfolio management and strict adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Bachelor's/College Degree program.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and management capabilities.
• Banking experience with lending, account management, and credit evaluation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned SME business targets with an income-generating, quality portfolio.
• Source SME clients via bank ecosystem, branches, referrals, and own-generated leads.
• Conduct client calls, visits and business-development activities independently or with SME Manager, Branch manager or referring personnel.
• Cross-sell applicable bank products and manage existing client relationships for profitability and growth.
• Coordinate credit assessment, proposal preparation and approval with RSCC and LAD.
• Oversee account implementation, servicing and timely collection of receivables, ensuring accurate SME tagging.
• Monitor portfolio renewals and asset quality, developing action plans to prevent NPL.
