Job summary

Maybank Philippines seeks a Relationship Manager to acquire, develop, and manage SME relationships by prospecting and converting new-to-bank opportunities, expanding borrower relationships, and ensuring service quality. You will coordinate credit proposals and monitor portfolio health while cross-selling banking products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' corporate banking experience, with strong communication and analytical skills to thrive in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce, Banking & Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in marketing and relationship management in corporate banking.
• Banking experience with lending, account management, and credit evaluation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Achieves assigned business targets through an income-generating, quality portfolio.
• Sources SME clients through the bank ecosystem, branches and referrals.
• Conducts client calls, site visits and business development activities to generate opportunities.
• Identifies client needs and develops banking packages to support profitability and relationships.
• Acquires new-to-bank business while growing existing client relationships.
• Reviews borrower relationships for facilities and opportunities; cross-sell bank products.
• Maintains client contact and resolves account concerns; ensures waivers and approvals follow policy.
• Prepares credit proposals and coordinates with approval authorities.
