Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a DMX / Smart Lighting Programmer to configure, program, and commission lighting control systems for UILS projects in Quezon City, Philippines.

The role involves programming lighting sequences using DMX or smart lighting systems, configuring controllers and communication protocols, and coordinating with Design Engineers to ensure on-site performance matches design intent. On-site work is required, with possible travel.

Qualifications

• Graduates in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field.
• Knowledge in programming, automation, or control systems.
• Experience with DMX / lighting / AV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Programming & Configuration
• Program lighting sequences using DMX or smart lighting control systems.
• Configure controllers, drivers, and communication protocols (DMX, DALI, etc.).
• Set up addressing, channel mapping, and control logic of fixtures.
• System Integration
• Integrate lighting controls with power supply, controllers, and fixtures.
• Coordinate with Design Engineer to match programmed output with design intent.
• Ensure compatibility of all system components.
• Testing & Commissioning
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting during installation.
• Adjust brightness, timing, and transitions for optimal effect.
• Ensure all programmed sequences function properly on-site.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance Support
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to programming and controls.
• Support service team in system maintenance and repairs.
• Update programs as required by client or project changes.
• Documentation & Turnover
• Prepare control system documentation (program files, addressing layout).
• Provide basic operation guide for clients or service team.
