Newport World Resorts is seeking a Slot Technician to maintain and repair gaming machines, TITO kiosks, jackpot systems, and related casino equipment on the casino floor.
You will troubleshoot issues via JDS tickets, assist in machine relocations and installations, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime while adhering to PAGCOR regulations.
JOB SUMMARY
The Slot Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of gaming machines, TITO (Ticket In Ticket Out) kiosks, jackpot systems, and related casino equipment. This role ensures efficient resolution of job tickets raised by Casino Operations and supports the daily technical operations to minimize gaming interruptions. The Slot Technician is also responsible for assisting in machine relocations, preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and new installations, in accordance with approved standards and machine configurations. The technician contributes to a smooth and secure gaming environment by ensuring timely repairs, technical accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Perform daily system maintenance and repair for slot machines, TITO (Ticket In Ticket Out) kiosks, DRS system, jackpot displays, and associated hardware on the casino floor.
Troubleshoot technical issues via Data Service Monitoring systems (i.e.,Juru Data Service/JDS) tickets and provide timely resolutions to minimize machine downtime.
Assist with machine relocations, installations, and configuration tasks (e.g., endbank display, MVC setup, RAM clear procedures).
Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics for machines, kiosks, and other gaming equipment.
Support break seal and seal back procedures in line with PAGCOR regulations.
Report unusual activities or irregularities observed on the casino floor.
Assist Senior Technicians with coordination with Security and Surveillance during machine verifications and EPROMS testing.
Adhere to technical protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Properly acknowledge and resolve assigned Data Service Monitoring systems (i.e. Juru Data Service/ JDS) tickets.
Ensure issues are addressed promptly to support machine uptime.
Check all scheduled machines for functionality prior to stacker collection.
Inspect machine locks, monitors, buttons, and validators to ensure operational readiness.
Monitor and update jackpot display settings and signage for accuracy.
Assist with minor repairs to slot displays and monitor units.
Repair TI/TO (Ticket In /Ticket Out) kiosk dispensers, cassettes, and components within technician capability.
Assist in repairs for stacker units, including Abloy lock installations.
Perform mechanical maintenance on Electronic Table Games as required.
Graduate of any Technical, Electronics, Electrical and Computer Engineering course.
With two (2) to three (3) years of working experience in Electronics.

Previous working experience in the Casino industry is an advantage.
Conduct Incident Report.
Able to identify the problem of the machine and give proper action and solution to it.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time.
Can carry/lift heavy equipment (at least 50 kg).
Has technical background in electronics/electrical repair/installation.
Can read and understand electrical diagram.
