Job summary

Lightwell Land Incorporated Site Technical Assistant role involves supporting the Senior Site Engineer in supervising daily housing and land development construction activities on site, ensuring proper manpower deployment, productivity, quality, and safety.

You will assist in implementing approved schedules, preparing daily reports and inspection records, and coordinating with teams to meet project targets while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Technology or equivalent vocational courses.
• At least 2 years of experience in housing or land development construction.
• Experience in daily site supervision and monitoring progress.
• Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, utilities, concrete works, and finishing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

About the role

To assist the Senior Site Engineer in supervising and monitoring daily housing and land development construction activities by ensuring proper manpower deployment, work execution, productivity, quality, and site coordination. The Site Technical Assistant supports the implementation of approved construction plans, schedules, and safety requirements, and provides timely reports and field assistance to achieve project targets under the supervision of the Project Site Operation Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Site Engineer in supervising daily housing and land development construction activities.
• Monitor ongoing site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and construction methodologies.
• Conduct daily site inspections and report project progress, accomplishments, issues, and delays.
• Assist in checking workmanship and materials delivered and installed on site.
• Monitor labor productivity and equipment utilization.
• Assist in the implementation of project schedules and identify activities that may affect the target completion dates.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and report unsafe acts and conditions.

About you

• 2 years' degree graduate/Bachelor's degree in Civil Technology or equivalent vocational courses.
• At least 2 years of experience in housing, vertical, horizontal, or land development construction.
• Basic knowledge of housing construction activities such as earthworks, road works, drainage, utilities, concrete works, masonry, roofing, and house finishing works.
• Experience in daily site supervision, monitoring work progress, and inspecting workmanship.
• Basic experience in monitoring manpower allocation and productivity.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and site inspection processes.
• Able to prepare daily accomplishment reports, manpower reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Willing to work on project sites and render overtime when required.
• Communication skills, ability to work under pressure, good attitude, ability to follow instructions, familiarity with construction methods, ability to adjust to the working environment, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
