Job summary

Green Nation Inc. is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Construction Project Management team in San Pedro City, Laguna. You will oversee day-to-day technical management of construction sites, acting as a bridge between PMO and on-site teams to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years’ on-site experience, with strong drawing interpretation and CAD skills. PE license is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar on-site construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools such as project management systems and CAD.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections and monitoring of construction sites for compliance with plans and quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate work of construction crews, subcontractors and suppliers for timely completion.
  • Prepare and maintain site records including daily reports and as-built drawings.
  • Manage material deliveries and inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Identify and resolve on-site technical issues with PMs and design teams.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
  • Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks with site personnel.
  • Verify work meets contractual requirements before payment authorisation.
  • Communicate progress and concerns with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Support project planning and scheduling and assist with resource allocation.

About the role

Green Nation Inc. is seeking a talented and dedicated Site Engineer to join our Construction Project Management team. This is a full-time position based in San Pedro City, Laguna, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction operations and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day technical management of construction sites, serving as a bridge between the project management office and on-site teams. Key responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections and monitoring of construction sites to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and quality standards

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely project completion

  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress documentation and as-built drawings

  • Manage material deliveries and inventory, ensuring appropriate storage and handling of construction materials

  • Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, liaising with project managers and design teams when necessary

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations throughout all construction activities

  • Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks with site personnel to promote a culture of safety

  • Verify that work completed meets contractual requirements and engineering specifications before authorising payment

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants and stakeholders regarding project progress and any concerns

  • Support project planning and scheduling, assisting with resource allocation and timeline management

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar on-site construction management role

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions

  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent registration is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

  • Experience with sustainable construction practices or green building projects is advantageous
