Job summary

China Wu Yi Company Ltd. seeks a Site Engineer to supervise daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring works follow approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedule. You will oversee the installation of power, lighting, and communication systems.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and project personnel, monitor progress, and prepare daily reports and documentation to support project accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related course.
• Licensed Engineer (PRC)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site engineering.
• Experience in building construction, structural works, civil works, or similar projects.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity measurements, and site documentation.

About the role

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and monitoring of construction activities at the project site. Ensures that works are executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedule. Oversees the installation of power, lightning, and communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
• Ensure construction works are implemented according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and verify actual site conditions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, workers, suppliers, and other project personnel.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress.
• Check dimensions, elevations, alignment, and workmanship of completed works.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, inspection requests, and other required documentation.
• Identify site problems, discrepancies, and delays and immediately coordinate with the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
• Assist in quantity take-off, material verification, and progress measurement.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety personnel to ensure compliance with project requirements.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related course
• Licensed Engineer (PRC)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site engineering
• Experience in building construction, structural works, civil works, or similar projects
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity measurements, and site documentation
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site supervision skills
• Experience in school buildings, commercial buildings, government projects, or similar construction projects (preferred)
• Experience working with subcontractors and construction crews (preferred)
